What led you to pursue certification through the National Institute of Accounting Technicians (NIAT)?
“While doing OJT and preparing for graduation, I wanted a certification that would give me international recognition. That’s why I decided to take the NIAT Level 1 in Bookkeeping, and I was fortunate to pass.”
How did earning your certification from NIAT impact your career opportunities or confidence in the field?
“It had a huge impact. My first employer hired me immediately because of my NIAT certification. It boosted my confidence and gave me credibility early in my career.”
What advice would you give to someone considering becoming a member of NIAT?
“Expect challenges, but embrace them. The journey won’t be easy but it is worth it. NIAT Certification can open opportunities you never thought possible.”
